No other press in this format category can surpass
the production speed of 15,000 sheets per hour in
either straight printing or perfecting mode. And the
degree of automation is extremely high to ensure
the shortest possible makeready times: CPL
automatic plate changing with an integrated
correction facility for all three registers, automatic
washing systems for the inker as well as the
blanket, impression and transfer cylinders.
Digital control with signal transmission by fibre
optics and central operation from the PECOM

300 concept opens up new dimensions of
productivity in the half-sheet category. She is
available from two-colour through to eight- colour
versions. Over 1,600 printing units have been sold worldwide, from two-colour through to eight-colour
versions. The five and six-colour versions in
particular are often ordered with a coating module
and drying systems.
The Roland 300 is built from modular components
and can be integrated into the PECOM process
electronics concept which links the different areas
of the printing plant into a highly efficient data
network.
